Obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the plant Sesamum indicum. For external use, sesame oil has excellent emollient, antioxidant and sebum-restoring properties. It is especially recommended for oily skin, by which it is easily absorbed. Ayurvedic medicine also accords great importance to sesame, which is used for all kinds of massages.
It is also referred to as sunscreen (protection factor 4). It has a “warming” effect, so it stimulates all metabolic functions of the body and is suitable for all slimming treatments. It also has a calming effect, which makes it an excellent oil for baby massage.
