Extracted by pressing from the germinated seeds of Triticum sativum, it is yellow-orange in color and has a typical taste and smell. A real concentration of nutrients.
It contains a high percentage of unsaponifiable fraction, rich in carotenoids and tocopherol (vitamin E), which is responsible for the oil’s anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, elasticizing action. Because of its intense nourishing, regenerating and restorative action, it is especially indicated for dry and wasted skin; it promotes cell renewal and is used to counter oxidative skin aging caused by free radicals.
The consistent presence of vitamin E makes it a good preservative for products in which it enters as an ingredient. Using it in cabin treatments, which are intended to be pleasant as well as effective, the addition of essential oils is recommended to cover its pronounced cereal odor. Use on all skin types, especially aged, dry, cracked, and deperated skin; sunburns and scars (stretch marks); eye contour.
