Description


Shea is a tree from central Africa. It has fragrant flowers and its fleshy, plum-like fruit encloses a stone from which the precious butter is made, which has extraordinary regenerative properties. Women in tropical countries, known for their velvety skin use it as a protective against the action of sun, wind and saltiness also to nourish, regenerate and soften the skin. The use of Shea butter in modern dermatology and cosmetics is important for its properties: healing, emollient, anti-stretch, anti-wrinkle, elasticizing, moisturizing, antioxidant, soothing, re-epithelizing, film-forming and protective. Use in dry, reddened skin; brittle, dry hair; calluses, fissures, cuts on hands and feet; on reddened babies’ butts and milk crust.
How to use Shea butter:

– Skin dryness, dermatitis, erythema, irritation and redness as it is rich in anti-inflammatory molecules and contains a high % of vitamins A, B, E, F (pack and application)

-Nourishing face mask for dry and damaged skin due to its high nourishing, moisturizing and elasticizing power at the skin level

-On hands and feet instead of cream at the end of hands/pedicure (best during winter) or as a compress for drier or damaged skin that tends to cut

-Hot nourishing and anti-inflammatory massage for the skin of the whole body (to be avoided during summer)
